LoginIt was announced by the Government last week (27th March 2020) that essential workers will not have to use all their annual leave allocation this year, but instead can carry over up to four weeks of annual leave into the next two leave years.
The announcement will help essential industries remain well-staffed as the UK continues to battle the coronavirus outbreak.

A common setting is for employees to carry over up to five days of unused leave that must be used within three months of the new leave year. To reflect these unusual times, this amount can easily be increased and the expiry extended, or even removed, then returned to normal values for the next leave year.
